About the Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, join the Productization team focused on AIOps and the transformation of SAP’s cloud operations through artificial intelligence and analytics. This is a highly collaborative, technically challenging role where you will analyze complex datasets, build advanced machine learning and predictive models, interpret results, and support decision-making for both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, structure, and prepare large data volumes from diverse sources
• Analyze datasets to detect patterns, trends, and actionable insights
• Develop and maintain analysis notebooks, ensuring reproducibility and clarity
• Build and deploy models in LLM (Large Language Models), machine learning, and predictive analytics
• Visualize analysis results to convey business impact
• Offer data-driven recommendations to guide operational and business decisions
• Continuously improve models and analytical processes
• Innovate by developing new analytical methods and approaches

Key Technical Skills:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical field
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning
• Proven proficiency in Python for data science applications
• Strong experience in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining
• Deep understanding of feature engineering, algorithm design, and data cleaning
• Demonstrated analytical and abstract thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced, multi-project teams
• Clear communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Databricks)
• Exposure to DevOps practices
